Me thinks that Renn is talking about the GOPe more than the new party of Trump and especially Vance. As for the military, the demand side matters too. If we would stop involving ourselves in every war on the globe, we could build up our own stocks and have money left over for R&D.
If you are describing the stolen election and the lawfare focus as personal vendettas, I beg to differ. Both of those are core issues on how we are to be governed. The economic issues are core issues on how we are to live.
